Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on the Mutual Supplies of Military, Dual-Purpose and Civil Goods during Periods of Heightened Aggression and in Wartime.
The agreement is aimed at strengthening Russian-Belarusian ties by establishing the legal base and mechanisms for bilateral economic and military technical cooperation during periods of heightened aggression and in wartime. At such times, the parties to the agreement undertake to guarantee the mutual supplies of goods in accordance with respective plans of mutual supplies for state needs the two countries draw up as part of their national economic mobilisation plans.
The agreement was signed in Moscow on December 10, 2009.
