The Order of Courage is awarded to citizens for their dedication, bravery and courage during rescue operations, protection of public order, in combating crime, in times of natural disasters, fires, accidents and other emergencies, as well as for bold and decisive fulfilment of military, civil or professional duty under conditions involving a risk to life.
