The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to Articles 243.4 and 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law introduces criminal liability for socially dangerous acts committed against the burial sites of victims of the genocide of the Soviet people, as well as against memorials dedicated to them. It also criminalises the denial of the genocide of the Soviet people and any insult to the memory of its victims.
