The message reads, in part:
“Congratulations on your triumph at the 2026 World Fencing Championships.
I commend the exceptional skill and winning spirit you demonstrated throughout the competition. And, of course, I would like to highlight your composure, strength of character, and confidence in your abilities in the decisive bout against the Olympic champion from the Republic of Korea.
I am confident that your gold medal in Hong Kong will make a worthy contribution to the advancement of Russian fencing and inspire you to achieve even greater success.”
