The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
The federal law sets forth specific procedures for cases dealing with certain categories of administrative offences committed outside the Russian Federation.
In particular, it specifies the damages resulting from administrative offences committed outside the Russian Federation, procedures for the participation of defence lawyers in the corresponding proceedings, methods for seizing materials and documents, as well as procedures governing the seizing of property to ensure the enforcement of the ruling on an administrative punishment.
In addition, the federal law sets forth specific procedures for the consideration of cases of administrative offences by individuals located outside the Russian Federation.
