The President sent a message of greetings to the participants, organisers, and guests of the 8th Road to Yalta International Music Festival.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the years since its inception, your creative project has acquired its own traditions and devoted admirers, bringing together emerging and renowned artists from many countries who hold sacred the authentic memory of the heroism of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War. We know and cherish the songs performed on the festival stage in dozens of languages across the world. They convey the feelings of all those who fought for Victory and crushed Nazism, expressing profound gratitude and respect for the defenders of the Fatherland. These talented, heartfelt musical works are timeless and serve as a powerful consolidating and inspiring force.
I am confident that the Road to Yalta festival will be a success, will unite representatives of different nations and cultures around high spiritual and moral values, and that the popularity of the festival, as well as its educational and humanitarian significance, will continue to grow.”
