Born on October 17, 1967, in Moscow.
1989 – graduated from the Asia and Africa Institute of Moscow State University with a degree in Oriental History and Translation.
1989 – worked at the USSR Foreign Ministry.
1990–1994 – administrative assistant on duty, attaché, third secretary of the Russian Embassy in Ankara, Turkey.
1994–1996 – worked at the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow.
1996–2000 – second, then first secretary of the Russian Embassy in Ankara, Turkey.
2000–2004 – Head of the Department for Relations with the Mass Media, Deputy Head/First Deputy Head of the Press Service of the Russian President, Deputy Press Secretary of the Russian President.
2004–2008 – First Deputy Press Secretary of the Russian President.
April 25, 2008 – appointed Press Secretary of the Prime Minister — Deputy Chief of the Government Staff.
Since May 21, 2012 – Deputy Chief of the Presidential Executive Office, Presidential Press Secretary.
