Vladimir Putin congratulated Dmitry Loginov on winning the men's snowboard parallel giant slalom event at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2019.
The message reads in part:
“You prepared seriously for this important, large-scale competition, and pursued your goal with single-minded focus. You displayed remarkable character, willpower and fighting spirit in the showdown against a strong competitor, and won the title of world champion in the men's parallel giant slalom event. And, of course, your success was made possible by the support of your coaches and all Russian fans.“
