Meeting on funding space activity

Vladimir Putin held a meeting to discuss the funding of Russia’s space activity until 2025.

The meeting set forth the main parameters of the 2017–2020 Federal Space Programme.

A decision was also made to extend the Russian Space Launch Centres programme, which ends in 2015, for another year so that a new federal programme until 2025 could be developed.

The meeting also considered matters dealing with the financial rehabilitation of Roscosmos.

Taking part in the meeting were Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Presidential Aide Andrei Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, acting head of the Federal Space Agency Alexander Ivanov, Commander of the Russian Space Forces – Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces Alexander Golovko, and Roscosmos CEO Igor Komarov.
