Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations to the Russian women’s national handball team, Olympic champions and winners of the gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The message reads, in part:

Special appreciation goes out to the coaches, whose professional efforts were an essential part of this success.”
