Developing culture in Russia and the Pushkin Museum’s further development were the main subjects of discussion.
Irina Antonova was head of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts from 1961 until 2013, when she was appointed president of the museum.
Mr Putin congratulated Ms Antonova on her 95th birthday on March 20, 2017.
