Vladimir Putin signed an Executive Order On Ending the Mandate of the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Ahead of Term.
The President signed an executive order on the early resignation of Sverdlovsk Region Governor Yevgeny Kuivashev, at his request.
Under the same order, the President appointed Yevgeny Kuivashev Acting Governor of Sverdlovsk Region until an elected regional governor assumes office.
