Vladimir Putin has sent a message of greetings to participants in a concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Moscow Soloists Chamber Orchestra.
The message reads, in part:
“Twenty five years ago, Yuri Bashmet, an outstanding musician and conductor, created a unique group which united talented under-graduate and post-graduate students of Moscow Conservatory. He laid the traditions which through the years have defined the artistic credo of the renowned ensemble.
Today, largely thanks to maestro Bashmet’s never-ending inspiration and creative energy, Moscow Soloists actively tour the world, bringing joy to their fans with their brilliant technical skills and rich repertoire.”
