Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the participants, guests and organisers of the Second Regional Social Innovation Forum and congratulated them on Social Workers’ Day.
The message reads, in part:
“It is pleasing that your forum has become an authoritative platform for discussing a broad range of issues related to developing state social policy, modernising social infrastructure in various regions and demonstrating best regional experience and practice. The agenda gives priority attention to enhancing legislation and legal regulation of public-private partnerships.
I hope that during your serious and substantive discussions you will be able to propose effective models and reduce barriers for volunteer and charity funds and socially-focused non-commercial organisations that take part in social work. Synergy between the state, NGOs, business organisations and active citizens in this most important area is the foundation for successfully developing the social sector and raising people’s quality of life”.
The Second Forum of Regional Social Innovations is taking place on June 8−9 in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region.
