Vladimir Putin congratulated medical workers and veterans of the Russian healthcare system on Medical Worker Day.
The message reads, in part:
“You have chosen the most humane and noble profession, one which requires profound knowledge, exceptional diligence and total dedication. Even more importantly, it requires generosity, responsiveness and sympathy. The best of the best in Russian medical profession were always guided by these values.
Today, Russia’s medical community is called upon to address serious, pressing tasks: the need to enhance the efficiency of the healthcare system, introduce state-of-the-art technology and practices, improve quality and accessibility of healthcare services and make training of highly-qualified staff a priority.”
