On July 27, Vladimir Putin will visit Finland at the invitation of President of Finland Sauli Niinisto.
The visit is timed to coincide with the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence. The President will travel to the city of Savonlinna, where an international opera festival will be held, featuring Bolshoi Theatre company members.
The presidents of Russia and Finland are scheduled to hold talks on a wide range of matters related to bilateral trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and environmental cooperation, as well as exchange views on the current regional and international issues.
