Vladimir Putin congratulated the residents of Krasnodar Territory on the 80th anniversary of its establishment.
The message reads, in part:
“You can take deserved pride in your native region’s history and in the martial feats and labour achievements of the many generations of your fellow countrymen.
The region shows confident growth today, creating an attractive investment climate, carrying out major projects that meet present-day demands, developing the region’s agribusiness potential and enhancing the social sector, transport infrastructure, and tourism.
Of course, you must also make full use of the rich heritage left by the Winter Olympics that took place in Sochi in 2014, for the benefit of Krasnodar Territory and all of Russia.”
