Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. The President congratulated the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church on his birthday.

Vladimir Putin presented the Patriarch with a painting by Vladimir Lapovok titled The Kremlin’s Assumption Cathedral. Patriarch Kirill thanked the President for promoting cooperation between the state and the church.
