Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the participants and guests of the 9th Gaidar Forum, being held in Moscow from January 16 to 18.
The message reads, in part:
“Your forum brings together a respected and substantial audience for discussing current issues on Russia’s socioeconomic agenda and also global development trends.
We see that knowledge and competencies, as well as the ability to generate and rapidly apply breakthrough technologies and to create the broadest possible opportunities for the application of one’s talents and personal fulfilment are becoming increasingly and even critically important for leadership and the competitive performance and success of companies and states. It is not surprising, therefore, that this time your forum is focused on education and the training of personnel, the digitalisation of all areas of life and the provision of convenient public services to people and businesses.”
