On May 3, the President of Russia will chair a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Local Organising Committee in Sochi. The meeting will focus on the readiness of stadiums and other infrastructure for the World Cup. Transport, medical and information services at the tournament will also be discussed.
The President will visit a FAN ID distribution centre and tour the renovated Fisht Stadium, which will host a number of matches of the upcoming World Cup.
A meeting between Vladimir Putin and FIFA President Gianni Infantino is also planned.
