Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to participants, organisers and guests of the 23rd St Petersburg Open International Tennis Tournament.
The message reads, in part:

This tournament traditionally brings together both strong and experienced players, the true international sports stars, and young athletes who are happy to demonstrate their talent, their extraordinary potential and ambition in achieving performance goals to their rivals and spectators.
