Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Soviet and Russian actor Sergei Yursky.
The message reads, in part:
“Sergei Yursky was a remarkable actor and director, a brilliant and multi-faceted talent. A masterful actor, he performed on the most prominent theatre stages in this country. Sergei Yursky created amazingly accurate, unforgettable characters on screen, and served as a model of unconditional and selfless devotion to art.”
Sergei Yursky passed away on February 8 at the age of 83.
