Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to Magas residents and participants in the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Ingushetia’s capital city.
The message reads, in part:
“In just 25 years Magas has grown into a beautiful modern city, one of the region’s cultural, scientific and educational centres. It is becoming more beautiful with every coming year, with new well-designed residential areas, squares and parks emerging, the urban environment becoming more comfortable and convenient for people.
Ingushetia’s capital is facing big challenges today, the main of which are attracting considerable investment, supporting business initiatives, improving the social and utilities infrastructure, creating jobs.
It is crucial that the city residents are hard-working and dedicated, have deep respect for their history, traditions and customs of their ancestors, and strive to make a personal contribution to the prosperity of their city and the Republic of Ingushetia.”
