Vladimir Putin congratulated current staff and veterans of the Russian Scientific Centre of Applied Chemistry on its 100th anniversary.
The message reads, in part:
“The centre, founded at the initiative of the Russian Physics and Chemistry Society, has made an outstanding contribution to the establishment and the development of Russian education, science, the chemical industry and the creation of some of the most important parts of advanced armaments.
And, of course, its workers’ hard and truly heroic labour to provide for the army and defenders of the Northern Capital during the Great Patriotic War deserves the greatest recognition.
It is good to see that today’s generation of scientists, engineers and experts multiplies the good traditions of their predecessors and strengthen Russia’s industrial, technological and defence potential with their highly professional and much-needed work.”
