Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the staff of the Circle of Kindness Foundation for supporting children with serious life-threatening and chronic illnesses, including orphan diseases, on the foundation’s fifth anniversary.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the years, the Foundation has earned public trust and brought together a close-knit team of like-minded individuals around its important mission, people who are energetic, responsible and sensitive to the hardships of others. You are engaged in a noble and vitally important endeavour: providing medical care to children with severe illnesses and ensuring their access to essential medicines and rehabilitation equipment. Thousands of young patients across different regions of our country are sincerely grateful to you for your constant attention, care and support. Of course, the Foundation’s diverse and highly needed activities also contribute to the development of medical science, the pharmaceutical industry and the national healthcare system as a whole.
I am confident that you, together with the Foundation’s partners – representatives of major companies, non-profit organisations, relevant agencies and caring individuals – will continue to fulfil your mission with distinction and make a meaningful contribution to strengthening the fine traditions of charity and compassion.”
