“The Student Rescue Corps, which brings together tens of thousands of like-minded people in all regions of our country, has a special and much-needed mission. You are always ready to help people in trouble, acting jointly, smoothly and promptly in the most difficult situations, working together with your senior colleagues from special services and law enforcement organisations to provide natural and technological disaster relief, ensure security at major events, and implement major awareness projects.

I would like to make special mention of your large-scale humanitarian and charity programmes designed to support the people of Donbass and Novorossiya, and your substantial contribution to flood relief efforts in Daghestan this spring.

I am confident that you will continue to cherish and strengthen the remarkable traditions of the national volunteer movement and rescue service. Your efforts and your proactive civil and patriotic stance are enhancing the prestige of the Student Rescue Corps, one of the largest volunteer youth organisations in Russia.”
