Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the participants and guests of the third National Forum of Agricultural Producers.
The message reads, in part:
“I welcome you to the forum, which has brought together in Moscow rural residents, workers of the agro-industrial complex, representatives of government bodies and the business community.
In recent years, your meetings have gained considerable prestige as a sought-after platform for professional dialogue on a wide range of issues pertaining to the integrated development of rural areas, enhancing access to modern education and healthcare, improving transport and energy infrastructure, and addressing pressing demographic, ecological and environmental protection challenges. I want to emphasise that the promising proposals developed at the forum are factored into the practical implementation of our plans for the improvement of small towns and villages, and for promoting support programmes for the agro-industrial complex – one of the flagship sectors of the national economy.
I am confident that this forum will prove productive and give rise to new substantive initiatives.”
