Vladimir Putin extended greetings to participants in the Yunarmiya (Young Army) National Military Patriotic Social Movement on its 10th anniversary.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the years, Yunarmiya has come a long way and is now rightly considered one of the country’s most respected youth organisations – an important and integral part of the national system of patriotic education, and a true school of life for millions of active, purpose-driven young people across Russia. Young Army members take an active part in volunteer and search efforts, tend to military cemeteries, strive to help those in need, and give special attention to the families of participants and veterans of the special military operation.
Special thanks go to the mentors of Yunarmiya. Your tireless and dedicated work, your genuine commitment to instilling unwavering moral and spiritual values in young people, your wise guidance, and your personal example inspire young men and women to good and noble deeds and remarkable achievements.
I am confident that Yunarmiya will continue to carefully preserve and build on its established traditions while opening up new horizons.”
