The message reads, in part:

“It is wonderful that, on the initiative of the Russian Children’s Fund, the fine tradition of festive gatherings in Moscow has continued for so many years. And today, our capital has once again brought together a large, close‑knit group of children from various regions of Russia, as well as from the friendly Republic of Belarus.

In our country, nurturing children’s character and strengthening family values are priorities. It is important that respected public and charitable organisations like the Russian Children’s Fund are making a valuable contribution to addressing these major, pressing issues. The Fund’s projects promote the creative fulfilment of boys and girls and support them in difficult life situations. And, of course, I would like to highlight the Fund’s special mission in providing assistance to the children and families of soldiers taking part in the special military operation.”
