President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The two leaders discussed current matters pertaining to further development of the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relationship between Russia and Kazakhstan in light of the agreements reached during the President of the Russian Federation's state visit to Kazakhstan in May, 2026. They paid particular attention to mutually beneficial join projects in trade and economy as well as energy.
When discussing international and regional matters, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev shared his thoughts following his recent visit to Brussels.
