In the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, the following documents were signed:

Agreement on development and production of a new generation fast electric train between the public corporation Russian Railways and the company Siemens AG;

Joint declaration on cooperation in the area of transport between the Transport Ministry of the Russian Federation and the German Federal Ministry of transport, construction and housing;

Joint declaration on plans for cooperation in search and rescue at sea, and in combating sea pollution from oil and other harmful substances between the Transport Ministry of the Russian Federation and the German Federal Ministry of transport, construction and housing;

The third programme between the Russian Federation Ministry of Health and Social Development and the German Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare on realisation of Agreements between the Health Ministry of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the German Federal Ministry for affairs of youth, family, women and health on cooperation in the health sphere and medical science dated 23 April 1987;

Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the German Federal Government on youth cooperation;

Agreement on manufacture of construction units for A-320 between the companies Irkut and Airbus.

A work programme was also passed for realising the Joint declaration on cooperation in the war on international terrorism.
