Dmitry Medvedev signed the Order On Investment Ombudsmen in Federal Districts.
Dmitry Medvedev ordered to confer the status of investment ombudsmen on Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoys to Federal Districts, and on the Aide to the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy in the Central Federal District, in order to ensure the implementation of priority measures to improve the investment climate in Russian regions.
The ombudsmen’s responsibilities include assisting investors in the implementation of private investment projects, primarily by facilitating the interaction between investors and federal, regional and local executive authorities.
