Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister – Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev.

The President held a meeting with Chairman of the Russian Union of Theatre Workers, theatre and film actor and director Vladimir Mashkov.

Vladimir Putin had a meeting with Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova in the Kremlin to discuss preparations for the single voting day, with a focus on election security.

Alexander Shuvayev reported to the President on his current performance as acting governor of the region.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Defence, the Chief of the General Staff, and the commanders and chiefs of staff of the Tsentr and Vostok groups of forces.

Vladimir Putin heard the report on the diamond mining company’s performance, including the creation of Europe’s largest diamond-cutting cluster in Smolensk, exploration of hard-to-reach diamond deposits, gold mining, and jewellery production. ALROSA’s energy projects, including its participation in the construction of the Novolenskaya thermal power plant and the modernisation of the Svetlinskaya hydroelectric power plant in Yakutia, were discussed on a separate basis.

Vladimir Putin addressed the closing ceremony of the Bolshaya Peremena national contest finals. Ahead of the event, the President met with the participants and finalists of the seventh season of the national contest.

CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov briefed the President on the company’s performance during the first half of the year.

The President met with Olga Abramova in the Kremlin and offered her the post of acting head of the Udmurt Republic.

The Speaker of the upper house of parliament reported on the Federation Council performance during the spring session. The priorities included demography, support for the current and former personnel involved in the special military operation as well as their families, and modernisation of children’s leisure and health infrastructure.

In St George’s Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace, Vladimir Putin held a meeting with deputies of the 8^th State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The President summed up the results of the large-scale legislative work performed by the deputy corps over the past five years and presented state wards to the parliamentarians.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation held a meeting with Navy personnel.

On Navy Day, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief heard reports presented by the commanders of Russia’s Pacific, Northern, Baltic and Black Sea fleets, as well as the Caspian Flotilla, covering the security landscape and their current missions.

At the end of the working trip to the Omsk Region, the President held a working meeting with Governor Vitaly Khotsenko. The President and the Governor discussed the region’s socioeconomic development.
