Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Federal Law On Perpetuating the Memory of Those Who Died Defending the Fatherland.
The federal law is aimed at achieving the objectives of organising and conducting military memorial efforts in Russia, perpetuating the memory of those who died defending the Fatherland, improving patriotic education of young people, as well as stepping up the search for unknown military graves, determining the names of those who died defending the Fatherland and preserving their memory.
The law specifies the forms of commemoration of those who died defending the Fatherland.
