Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On the Celebration of the 800th Anniversary of the Birth of Alexander Nevsky.
In order to retain the military, cultural and historical heritage, to strengthen the unity of the people of Russia and in connection with the 800th birthday anniversary of the outstanding statesman and army commander Prince Alexander Nevsky, which occurs in 2021, the President has resolved to accept the proposal of the Government of the Russian Federation to mark the 800th birth anniversary of Prince Alexander Nevsky.
Corresponding instructions have been given to the Government of the Russian Federation.
