Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order granting Russian Federation citizenship to Irene de Dreyer.
In accordance with Article 89 (a) of the Russian Federation Constitution, the President approved a request to grant Russian Federation citizenship to Irene de Dreyer, who was born on December 15, 1915, in Moscow.
Baroness Irene de Dreyer lives in France and is the daughter of White Russian émigré and Russian general Vladimir von Dreyer. She recently applied to the Russian authorities for a passport of the country she considers her mother country.
Vladimir von Dreyer left Russia with his wife and child in 1920. The family began a new life in France.
