Law optimising matters resolved exclusively at Government meetings

July 4, 2016

Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Constitutional Law On Amendments to Articles 27 and 28 of the Federal Constitutional Law On the Russian Federation Government.

The Federal Constitutional Law optimises the list of matters that can be resolved exclusively at Government meetings. Other matters can be considered at Government meetings in cases set by Russia’s laws and by decision of the President or the Prime Minister in accordance with the Government Regulation.

The Law also sets forth provisions making it possible for the Government pass a resolution without holding a meeting.
