Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On Celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s Birth.
In view of Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s outstanding contribution to Russian and world culture, the President resolved to accept the Government proposals on celebrating the 200th anniversary of the writer’s birth in 2021.
Relevant instructions have been issued to the Government.
Regional executive authorities have also received recommendations to take part in arranging events to mark the writer’s birth bicentenary.
