In view of the wildfires burning in the Trans-Baikal Territory and in order to render assistance to the affected population, conduct emergency relief efforts and normalise the situation in the region, the President resolved to consider overcoming the consequences of wildfires in the Trans-Baikal Territory in the shortest possible time a state priority. This includes the repair of damaged and construction of new housing for citizens affected by the fires, restoring agricultural resources, social, engineering and transport infrastructure, as well as shepherd camps and utilities affected.

Corresponding instructions were issued to the Government of the Russian Federation.

The Government was also given separate instructions to improve the efficiency of wildfire prevention work. It was also instructed to submit draft legislation toward this end.

In addition, the Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory and executive authorities of the region received instructions concerning compensations to citizens affected by the wildfires.

The Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to report on the implementation of the Executive Order on a monthly basis.
