The President signed the Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On the State Language of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law amends the Federal Law On the State Language of the Russian Federation to improve the mechanisms for ensuring the use of the Russian language as the state language throughout the Russian Federation, to expand and detail the uses of the state language of the Russian Federation that are mandatory, and to clarify the powers of the federal government bodies aimed at protecting and supporting the state language of the Russian Federation.
