Vladimir Putin signed an Executive Order On Amendments to Executive Order No. 143 of the President of the Russian Federation dated March 15, 2021, On Measures to Increase the Effectiveness of the State Science and Technology Policy.
According to the Executive Order, a Presidium of the Commission for Scientific and Technological Development under the Government of the Russian Federation shall be formed to address the Commission’s operational issues. It is established that, by decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Presidium of the Commission for Scientific and Technological Development may be vested with the functions and powers of the governing council of the state programme in the field of scientific and technological development.
