Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On Conferring an Honorary Title on the 1488th Red Banner Anti-Aircraft Missile System Regiment.
For mass heroism and courage, resilience and bravery demonstrated by the personnel in missions to defend the Fatherland and state interests during armed conflicts, the President has conferred the honorary title of Guards on the 1488th Red Banner Anti-Aircraft Missile System Regiment, which will now be referred to as 1488th Guards Red Banner Anti-Aircraft Missile System Regiment.
