Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Law On Military Technology Cooperation with Foreign States.
The amendments stipulate the types of information that can be published in accordance with legislation of the Russian Federation in the media, scientific publications, works of literature and art and advertising materials.
The term “military products” will no longer apply to the types of military technology information specified, which will increase the opportunities of Russian organisations participating in military technology cooperation with foreign states to publish marketing information aimed at promoting Russian products in international arms markets.
