Vladimir Putin sent messages of condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif in connection with the numerous human casualties and damage caused by an earthquake in the northeast of Afghanistan and the northern and north-western areas of Pakistan.
The Russian President expressed his sympathy and support to the victims’ families and wishes of a speedy recovery to those injured.
