Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
The President congratulated Mr Sargsyan on his 60th birthday and noted his big personal contribution to strengthening the partnership and alliance between Russia and Armenia.
The two presidents also discussed matters relating to Armenia’s full-scale involvement in the Eurasian integration process.
Mr Putin also sent Mr Sargsyan a message of congratulations.
