On October 14, Vladimir Putin will visit the Republic of Armenia to attend a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO).
The participants will discuss the situation in the CSTO responsibility zone, as well as ways to improve the collective security system.
In accordance with the decisions taken at the December 2015 CSTO Summit in Moscow, the focus will be on measures to combat international terrorism.
The Republic of Belarus will take over CSTO chairmanship from the Republic of Armenia at the Collective Security Council session in Yerevan.
