Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Karen Karapetyan.
It was noted that the crisis in Armenia must be resolved within the legal framework, in line with the existing constitution and on the basis of the results of the legitimate parliamentary elections held in April 2017. In this context, the leaders emphasised the importance of electing a new Armenian prime minister by the parliament on a planned date of May 1, 2018.
