The President submitted to the State Duma for ratification the Agreement Between the Russian Federation and the Argentine Republic on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters, signed in Buenos Aires on June 12, 2014.
Under the Agreement, the sides commit, pursuant to indicated conditions and on a mutual basis, to give each other legal assistance in criminal investigations, court hearings and other legal proceedings linked to criminal cases.
The Agreement does not cover areas regulated by the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union and do not contradict any other international agreements that the Russian Federation is party to.
