Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the 5th Russian-Azerbaijani Forum Interregional Cooperation: New Opportunities for Growth.
The message reads, in part:
“Interregional ties are a key direction for developing the traditionally friendly and good-neighbourly relations between Russia and Azerbaijan and giving impetus to new projects and initiatives.
It is important that your authoritative forum, which marks its fifth anniversary this year, continues to gain influence and has provided a useful platform over these years for constructive dialogue on the full range of ties between our countries’ regions. The Forum provides an excellent opportunity for developing our considerable cooperation potential in the transport, energy and banking sectors and in investment, agriculture, tourism and education.”
The Forum is taking place on June 23–24 in Gabala, Azerbaijan.
