Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Zillur Rahman following a ferry accident that has claimed many lives.
The telegram reads, in part:
“I was deeply saddened to learn about the ferry accident on the Meghna River, resulting in many human victims.
I express my sincere condolences over this tragedy, and I ask you to pass on my condolences and words of sympathy to the victims’ families and my wishes for a speedy recovery to all who were injured.”
